Prior to the pandemic I considered myself just as much of a fashion photographer as I was a wedding photographer. During covid isolation my inspiration for fashion photography plummeted and I went from one to two fashion shoots a month to less than five all of last year. All of that to say; when I am feeling inspired I try to channel that energy and jump right on it. A few weeks ago when driving home from work I had an idea for self portraits on the beach. I had some wardrobe pieces I had been saving and could envision my hair and makeup how I wanted it. I directed Dave and he helped me take the photos and they came out so beautifully! I had such a great time taking and editing these and am so grateful to bring my vision to life.
