I first met Ally and Jason last Spring for their Philadelphia engagement session that took us to Philly landmarks like Magic Gardens and Cherry Street Pier. We had an amazing time, and their session was one of my last before taking almost a month off for my own wedding! When their November wedding rolled around I could hardly believe how quickly the time passed.
Their wedding day started with a daunting forecast, but we didn't sweat it for a moment. We had a great timeline in place and felt prepared for anything. I started the day with Ally and her girls at a hotel in Vineland for hair and makeup while my second shooter, Emily met the guys for getting ready at their venue, Eastlyn Golf Course. We crossed paths shortly after, got the girls into their dresses and before we knew it, it was time for first look! The venue had a covered porch that was perfect for staying out of the rain while still having the lighting and background that being outside provides. The golf course was surrounded by the lingering colors of Fall and all of the photos turned out so stunning. The rain even cleared for just long enough that we were able to bustle Ally's dress and take her and Jason out onto the course for some portraits. It stayed clear for their outdoor ceremony, that happened just after sun down and was illuminated by candles and twinkle lights.
After a day of anxiously watching the forecast, having just enough clear skies for some photos and the outdoor ceremony of their dreams felt absolutely perfect! The celebrations continued with their cocktail hour and reception where they had the sweetest personal details like their table numbers, calendar guest book, and signature drinks. After entering the ballroom, Jason surprised Ally with a song he sang with the band. It was a great moment! The band continued to play as they partied the night away.
